Beaches

Platja de l'Ampolla is Moraira's only beach within comfortable walking distance of the centre lying just 500m from the Club Nautico Marina. there are also water sports facilities available including sailing, diving, jet-skiing and water skiing.

Another more attractive option is Platja del Portet which is 2 minutes walk from the apartment and we’d recommend you just use this one. This is the most chilled out spot you could ever wish for with golden sand, turquoise waters and a few little café bars overlooking the beach.

Both beaches of Moraira both carry ‘blue flag’ status and are clean, well looked after and safe for families.

Beaches immediately south of Moraira are rocky rather than sandy but are excellent for snorkeling.

An interesting excursion from Moraira is to take one of the jet skis from the seafront between the fish market and Moraira castle and go on a tour of the coastline as far as Cabo de la Nao, a headland that offers fabulous views towards Javea.

Jetski rental costs €120 for the hour or €70 for 30 minutes. The excursions are from 9am till 11am and then from 11.30am till 1.30pm.  To book in advance you can call 00 34 667 57 30 50 (they speak English).
